Lint Roller

Max was intrigued by the bald head.
"Mommmy's hair all gone?"
"yeah, kinda funny, huh?"
"Max touch it... kinda pokey... kinda ouchy..."
I cried. Not a sad cry, just a nice moment.

I'm almost caught up on stuff, so it must be time for more poisonings. Friday! yay! After this one I'll be down to one hand as Jenn says. I'm really ready to be done with all of it, but that seems to be a ways off. Oh well.
My head itches. My coworkers and Brent are telling me I need to "bic it." I have this extreme fear of cutting my head open. I read one woman venting somewhere about wanting to use a lint roller on her head. We tried it. It was funny, and it got a lot of hair, but sort of an unending deal. We could have rolled until either hair was gone, or the lint roller was done, but it seemed tedious. I'm really glad I buzzed it at least. I wouldn't want this much long hair falling all over the place. I'm kind of grossed out by the little 1/2 inch hairs as it is.
Sam & Debbie are coming to help take care of the little guys this weekend. My parents are coming Sunday night so my dad will work Monday & either half of Tuesday or all day. Students are getting used to Mr. Sime. One kid asked if the picture in my room of Albert Einstein was my dad. Really!? I told him my dad would be incredibly flattered, but no. I then told him to google Albert Einstein and wrote it down for him so he'd spell it right. :) Other kids in class laughed, but I'm pretty sure they didn't know either. Another student in spanish class saw a picture of Jerry Garcia and asked if that was Mrs. Klumph's sub. Again, flattering, but no. :)

First of all the lent roller thing is so funny. Such a genius idea. I love it. And lastly, I have decided that bald is beautiful...at least to me :) I have a bald and beautiful boyfriend, and a huge crush on a professional surfer (Kelly Slater -google him:) who 'bics' his head. I think hair just covers up your gorgeous features. So be bald...cuz your beautiful. Love you mo.

Ok sister. You need to check into something. I had a classmate whose dad had lung cancer and was undergoing chemo and NEVER got sick, not even once....wanna know his remedy?? He went to a holistic herbalist and she gave him a recipe for a smoothy type drink that he made...had pineapple and other things in it. It is so worth a try! Ask your acupuncture person if they have any herbalists that they can refer you to. Or just search around, I truly believe in all of these alternative holistic remedies...this is coming from a medical person too!!!! haha, drugs don't fix everything, that is for dang sure!!! Loves to you! I miss you and am so glad you are doing well. Love you bald!!! Chat soon!

Your students may not know who Mr. Einstein was but they will never forget Mrs Klumph!!!
What a heroic example you and Brent are doing to instill courage , love, and education to the whole school and all of us!

It's homecoming tonight at CCHS, stadium lights ablaze, 42 degrees, wind blowing and I am home and cozy! I love reading the blog, admiring your spirit, feeling your concern for Max and Cannon and your calm strength throughout this ordeal.

I pray for you, my church prays for you, I smile and send you love with every pink thing I see. I am angry that cancer exists. Please know that I send energy your way throughout the day and hold you and Brent in, yes, that golden light.
