Still chemo

Ok, its not cake, its chemo. I felt all screwy yesterday, and last night had a huge headache and thought I was actually going to throw up. I didn't, but I didn't go back to school today either. I still feel a little loopy today. I'm frustrated. I'm tired of trying to figure out what I could have done differently. I'm tired of sleeping all day, I'm tired of the whole deal. I'm glad there are only 2 left, I know I can make it and everything will be fine, but it won't be as easy as I was hoping. I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow, and next week, blah blah blah. Irritating!

I remember how "old" all this got with Donna and then it was over! You look back and its a blur and a nightmare all rolled into one! The huamn spirit can just about handle anything! Doesn't make it easy just "doable"! 2 to go! Go get'em!

Mo and Brent...

You know we're all hanging in there for you, but I just wanted to comment on your previous blog... and the fact that you are continuing a "slightly modified" Klumph tradition :-) (which I will share with you and the blog...)

Papa Rick's Grandma (Grandma Ruby), used to make sure she had some "one on one" time with each grandchild, and at the end.... she would say, "Now, keep this a secret, between you and me--and tell NO ONE!!... But YOU are my favorite grandchild!!" Some of the grandkids actually believed it---until they compared notes one eveing :-).

Grandma Ruby was a kick... and we shared the same birthday. On one of her (our) birthdays Bonnie went to Safeway and had a big cake made with red lettering "Happy Birthday Grandma Ruby"... Well.... Grandma Ruby was NOT pleased and told Bonnie that she had to put MY name on it because it was Nell's birthday too!!!

I told Bonnie, don't worry, we'll get some more frosting for lettering--But it was that shiny red stuff and the ONLY thing that came even close was some of that Gawd-awful cinnamon toothpaste--which worked quite well, (and that was my piece :-) ).

And Grandma Ruby also told me, "Don't tell anyone, it's our secret, but YOU are my favorite "grandchild in law." :-) I just so happen to still believe it. :-)

So keep your favorites (we can all see why they are your favorites they are all so awesome!!)

Love and hugs,... from.... Your FAVORITE Aunt and Uncle (from Salem, that is...) Nell and Randy
