Getting better

My frame of mind is improving. Oncologists throw me into a category of stage 4 without any additional variables of ME. They did not take into account the size of my tumor, the location, my age, my health, nor did they acknowledge my ability to be a positive thinking bad ass. I'm still going to be 90.

When you take the fuel away from the tumor(estrogen) the tumor dies! The follow up therapy with an estrogen blocker gets rid of the rest of the estrogen. My Aunt Carmen had stage 4 ovarian cancer 16 years ago! She is 83 y/o now!

Yes! So sorry you and Brent had to hear those scary numbers, but you're right, you are a total bad ass and I'm looking forward to being 90 year old ladies together. You got this, Mo!!

Donna here. You are exactly right, Mo. You have every reason to think you will live a long and normal lifespan. My friend, Dorian, was also diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer because of metastasis to the lung 7 years ago. She is doing great after taking Arimidex all those years. The spot on her lung is barely there and is unchanging. I know you will do well, too. You are in God's hands all the way. Lots of Love, Donna

I love your attitude. I just got all caught up on the latest. I'm glad you have good doctors but your right they don't really know "you" and that attitude will get you to 90 for sure! Have a blast on your vacation. Love you all.

Cancer is a terrible thing, but the best thing you CAN do about it, is have a positive outlook and a strong drive to beat it. Your mentality is a big part of how your body functions and you're keeping a positive perspective. It's ok to get frustrated at times, but you got this! You have so many people praying for you and there to support you through this. Lots of love to you guys!
